Something on this site is wrong. Tell us.
Most Recommended Auto Repair publishes measured results that name real businesses. Names, phone numbers, addresses and licences go stale, and a match can land on the wrong business entirely. If we have printed something untrue about a shop — yours or anyone else’s — this is where to say so, and a person reads it.
Facts we fix. Rankings we don’t move.
A fact about a business is either right or wrong, and wrong is a defect we owe you a fix for. A ranking is a different kind of thing: it is a measurement — the record of what ChatGPT answered when we asked. Money cannot buy a place on this list, and by exactly the same rule a place cannot be talked off it. A number you can argue us out of is not a measurement, and a board whose results move for whoever complains loudest is worth nothing to the drivers who read it.
What we will fix
Any of these is a defect. Send it and we check it against the primary source — the state licence lookup, the business’s own site, the public record.
- A business name, phone number, address or website that is wrong or out of date.
- A licence number, or a licence status, that does not match the state's own record.
- A service listed for a business that it does not actually offer.
- A business that has closed, moved, merged, or changed hands.
- A profile that has been matched to the wrong business, or the same business listed twice.
- Anything on a page that contradicts the source we link to.
What we will not change, and why
- Where a business places in a ranking. That is the measured result, not an editorial choice.
- Removing a business from a list because it would rather not be on it, or moving it up because it would rather be higher.
- Adding a business that was not named in the run. The next edition re-measures everything from scratch.
Being named here is not a judgment of anyone’s work, and not being named is not a judgment either — it means ChatGPT did not name that shop in this edition, in that metro. We re-run the whole benchmark on a schedule, the same way each time, and every edition is dated. The full method, including what it cannot tell you, is on how we measure.
If your business is on a current list and you want the badge, that is a different thing and it is free — claim it here.
What happens to it
It lands in front of the people who publish Most Recommended Auto Repair. Someone checks the claim against the source, and if you are right the page changes and the date on it moves. We do not reply to most reports — that is not indifference, it is that the fix on the page helps everyone who reads it next, not only the person who wrote in. Leave an email address if you would like us to be able to come back with a question.
